How Does Raid Id Work?

Hi,

Today, I joined a heroic NY raid starting at Vexiona at stopped at Carapace of N’zoth.

Now, if I want to continue the raid with a new group; should we kill Wrathion, Maut, Skirta, Xanesh and go to Carapace of N’zoth?

You get loot locked on the bosses you’ve killed but you can kill them as many times as you want, you can’t get other people’s loot either until you kill a boss you haven’t killed already.

I am not interested to loot the bosses that I already killed.

I want to reach Cara then N’zoth for progress.

Oh, well if you’re the leader it’ll use your ID and you’ll be back at a carapace without having to kill the bosses you’ve done already.

I formed a 2 man raid to check if I can fight Cara immediately, nope! I was front of Warthion…

Sorry I’m an idiot, didn’t read that you started on vexiona. Yeah you’ll have to kill all the bosses you haven’t killed on your raid ID.

You can always ask around your friends if one of them have shortcut (from quest), so you’d only need to kill Wrathion (I dont think this can be avoided), and then clear trash to open doors. And then can progress on last 2 only.

edit : I have no idea what happened to rest of the quote :confused:
