How does raid lockout works?

I did bfd till half, we called it on a boss that we wiped few times. It was a pug group, now I can’t start from 0 even without getting any loots right? Do I have to find a group that is on the boss that I wiped?

Since this is 10 man, most people will pug this and we know how pugs are. Please tell me I can join from 0 and won’t be able to get loot only. Otherwise I can’t join till next raid because it will be hard to find a group that is recruiting at half…

Have raid lockouts ever worked in the way you described above? I hardly think so.

Instead of replying like this, how hard is to reply properly. I don’t know what ae you trying to say, I’m kinda new to classic ffs.

He is talking about retail lockouts.

Or have you never played that in the last years ?

you either get exact same group and finish the raid
or
wait till raid is reset and start over

As long as none of the other 9 that was in your raid makes a new group to finish it off, he can form one and continue.

First come first serve on continuing the lockout if there are players willing to join a half finished raid.

I have not. Can´t imagine that they are any different from vanilla/tbc/wotlk raids. I mean, why would they.

You would be surprised then… You can kill every boss as many times as you want, but you can loot boss only once per week per difficulty.

I had same question earlier today when my pug group fell apart at Akumai and since it’s “new” concept, they could add those player friendly mechanics… honestly I’d love that.

Yeah why on earth would retail be any different from vanilla?
