Do you get a copy only the transmog from it and the other person gets the item or do you get the item only when no one rolled on it?
I mean if i have to compete with normal roll how can i ever win a transmog roll? Is this a usless button? Can someone explain that button for me?
I never won when I pressed that button so I believe need is prio and transmog is old greed.
Yeah it seems like it’s just something that shows if the gear is something that you can equip but isn’t for your spec or is seen as inferior to what you already have.
Edit: Nevermind you can literally greed as long as you’re not rolling for the copy of item you already own.

would be nice if you can at least get the tmog appearance if you win the tmog roll. But when they only hand out 1 item for all rolls this makes no sense
Transmog roll gets priority over Greed.
Need Roll get priority over Transmog.
Usually if you can Roll Transmog, it’s because you can’t Need the item because you already have a high level tier piece.
but you cant win that roll 
so what is the point. never saw no one rolled on an item and greed won or now transmog. i usually roll need if i can because of that.
You can win it if nobody needs the item.
So yeah upon further inspection is exactly as I said,transmog is basically greed.And functions exactly like it.
So in order to win no one can need on the item or they win and your transmog won’t even be rolled for.
Just as greed works.
This is not a good system for pugs and lfr for sure.
Should’ve been optional for guilds only.
Personal loot was way better.
