- I find DPSing and tanking boring
- I like feeling important (playing a role many others don’t want to)
- I like being helpful. Not just in raids and BGs but outside of it as well. Healing low hp strangers fighting world bosses or in WPvP.
- I enjoy planning raid cooldowns with other healers (it’s like we are our own separate team within the raid group)
- I’ve dealt enough dmg in vidya in my life so I’m looking for something different. And Healing kinda stuck with me in WoW.
F.e. in SMITE, I used to main tanks because I could save people simply by bodyblocking which is something tanks can’t do in WoW (and it’s a shame).
to answer the video about being a RN… Google ICU RN or CRNA…
dam dont know about others but I feel it is pretty easy to notice CC’s and interrupts when they happen, tho i can’t say if it is a dps or the tank doing it, but it is easy to notice but then again most of the time im the one with the highest number of interrupts(helps having one of the shortest CD’s on interrupts as a shaman)
feel sorry for you not to be in groups with healers that notice stuff like that(most of the time I’m not saying anything about it as that is what i expect a dps to do)
then i find dps repetitive and boring.
where healers have to pay more attention on mechanics and where people are so you can make sure they survive(if possible).
Some people like making health go down.
Some people like making health go up.
Great response. You haven’t got a single FoS or any raid achievement on your entire account that I would consider you a “superior” healer to me. Especially when looking at logs too. Just sayin
And the fact you’re on the forums, coming across as very passive aggressive makes it even more cringe. Just chill mah man.
The monk is an alt, that is my main.
You can take a look.
Also both of my players have logs, unlike you
And you’re coming across as superior and you haven’t killed the end boss on Mythic yet? You’re supposed to be a tryhard aren’t ya? I have an arguement. I haven’t played this expansion at all barely
Please feel free to share your wisdom as to why you seem to think I shouldn’t be able to chime in on this thread, when I’ve literally been playing every single healer in PvP and PvE for over a decade
At this point we talk, even someone who killed HC boss is superrior to you.
As about nzoth, he was 9% last raid so… Hes pretty much dead.
Did you complete LFR tho?
Yet you are a healer and you know that its the easiest spec right?
Thanks for proving my point
I would imagine people enjoy the challenge of keeping groups alive. It’s not always an easy task.
I do not enjoy healing, I find it incredi my stressful. I don’t enjoy tanking either. I have done all three roles and I like doing my bit as a dps.
Yeah, I have the knowledge of not only myself, but of the entire internet, and other healers from top world guilds. The ENTIRE reason I stopped playing this patch was how boring it was to heal, and in general the healing gameplay. I had a quick taste of this expansion, cleared my 15’s in the first week of this patch, then quit.
I played enough to decide. Thanks
Edit: Oh and I used to play a lot of PvP, but it’s basically diabolical at this point.
Low tier difficulties are not taken in consideration by anyone over the internet, while y ou carry their knowledge(lol) you fall behind in logic to back up your words.
Again, since you barely play and have 0 logs to prove how “better” you are from the rest sit tight and focus playing your DH.
Because im sure you main the 123 who thinks their rotation is hard and healers are easy lol
I play/played everysingle healer, Rdruid/Shaman/Priest(this is an alt priest) and MW Monk very casually at the moment.
At this point, I’m not sure what you’re trying to prove by your first quote towards me. I’ve been playing the game for a long time, I used to raid semi-hardcore. I’ve done all challenge modes on every single healer at the beginning of MoP and WoD.
I’m no stranger to healing. If I say I find healing a lot more easier than other roles. I FIND THEM EASIER, Period. I’ve been playing them a hella lot longer, and tbh, they genuinely are a lot easier to play.
In PvP though, healers are a lot more difficult.
Good, log in with them show them and link some logs if you played with all of them.
Because my point stands still that you probably main a DH press 123 and think you have a hard job while healers got the ez part.
Alright If you say so. MW is the only healer I played at the beginning of the patch.
2 green logs in BoD as MW
3 green logs in NYA as WW
Yet my monks logs are bad, you rock right?
Can people stick to the OP. Why does stuff like this have to turn into a “nuh uh my role is harder than yours” urinating contest?
If someone finds healing more challenging than DPS or tanking for them, fine. Don’t worry, nobody is attacking you because you main a tank or DPS. Stop caring that random people on the internet have a different opinion to you, it’s not that deep.
Dude… please stop now. You’re literally looking at my pug logs from about a year ago, in BFA?
You tried arguing with maths in another thread earlier. Just stop
Kimora. Wrong char…
When you rush at my logs to prove nothing beacuse they are 80ish-90ish and better… What you expect me to answer you with?
Your pala has no logs too, why you even talk about logs when you have nothing of them?
You still havent convinced me you are a healer and you prove even more what i said about you being a dps probably.
You have the 15’s in time achievement, none of your chars here have done 15’s intime so… Whats your main in S4? Let me guess xD
The 0.1% of the 200k being 999 is not math.
Not even elementary school would call that math.
the point with you finding healing easier sure that is a matter of perspective and your perspective has healers as easier then doing dps or tanking.
now i agree healing is easier for me to, now the question is why? is it the huge amount of xp with healing or something else? for me it is the amount of xp healing that makes it so much easier then dps or tanking, now the amount of stuff you need to keep track of as healer compared to dps is in my opinion in favor of the healer having more to keep track of, but in different ways.
where the dps needs to keep track of his CD’s and boss mechaniks, the healer needs to keep track of boss mechanics and the raid/positioning of people.
if it is about rotation then both has some kind of rotation/prio list they follow.
now don’t talk in absolutes as that is simply not true, I for one cant dps for the life of me(not to any degree that is worth mentioning at least), now healing i find easy but i also know of people that find dps to be easy but cant heal if their lives depended on it.
Oddly enough, most of the healers I know are run by female players. Perhaps it’s because they are less involved with fighting this way? Idk.
I tried to be healer but it’s not my game. I guess healing is that part of the job for those who don’t like killing and fighting. Perhaps I’m wrong.
