How does the new ilvl max for Myth and Hero track items going to work?

How does the new ilvl max for Myth and Hero track items going to work? I’ll be able to upgrade the existing ones (not talking about the crafted items, I know there is a new crafting material for that) or I have to farm new ones instead?

If you mean for the turbo boost, it’s crafted gear

Please, read what I wrote.

they described it as 2 extra upgrade levels
considering they’re gating the crafted upgrade behind crests, safe to assume the dropped gear upgrades will also be gated behind crests.

if I had to take a guess, hero and myth gear will be turned from */6 to */8, can’t imagine they’ll make your refarm your whole set this deep into the season.

likely 15 gilded crests per upgrade level, which puts it at equal cost as the 6 extra ilvl for the crafted gear

It’s pretty self-explanatory? Just spend more crests and valors to upgrade the items?

During this event, Hero and Myth upgrade tracks will extend 2 upgrades (from 6 to 8), the cap for Crests is lifted, and Valorstones become Warbound for the remainder of the season. Mythic+ drop rates for Warband until Equipped gear are also being doubled.

Hero and Myth items should simply go from 6 upgrade tracks to 8 upgrade tracks upon maintenance (similar to how they just upped crafted gear during DF). There is no shot they make you refarm every piece unless they want like half the playerbase to quit.
