I have a DH tank but want to try something new. How does warrior compare? More or less complex?
If you like screaming and stamping on the ground then BFA prot warrior is the tank for you.
Not to be mistaken for angry toddler.
i wouldn’t say warrior tanks are complex to play but i do prefer playing this prot spec over vengeance, the only thing thats a little off putting is using thunder clap often which isn’t a suitable animation to be used often in my opinion.
One thing almost made me quit playing war early on was devastation spam when i started doing dungeons as prot from 15 + although simply removing devastation from the rotation fixed that and i started enjoying the spec from then on.
For a Tank ,Prot warrior cannot be a regret. It is a lot of fun. I don’t think its complex tho.
Devastation is really important for the slam proc while being free. If you enjoy that play style i suggest you to take it as a talent.
