So if you level to 60 and start to trade with people, do you lose your Self Found buff? If you do, it is kind of pointless, you could just self enforce the rule to 60.
I would very much like to know, because if you lose the buff like that, you could potentially start just playing now, no need to wait for SF if you lose the buff anyway.

I believe the restrictions are lifted at lvl 60 and the buff may be gone with them. Maybe blizzard implemented a new buff you gain at lvl 60, showing that you managed to get to 60 while being under the SF restrictions.

Self Found has been moved up early according to the new roadmap.
Or the Cata beta has been moved later.
I belive the latter is true. Blizzard are in dumpster fire extinguishing mode after recent layoffs by Microsoft. Most peole who were fired were connected to overwatch 2, however some may had been doing cancelled survival game. Microsoft probably thought why do we need raw survival by Blizzard with huge art department, when you have simplistic AI generated content in pokemon ripoff making money at low cost of production right now? So Blizzard are currently delaying all the content, trying to spread people they have left, pushing something requiring minimal amount of work ahead of schedule.
