How far do our robots go?

Hey friends.

I have a brand new shiny hyper fixation and you are gonna help me to cross it with my all time love wow.

Great so after watching creature commandos I fell in love with go robot and then I asked myself how far are the automatons we have in wow in matter of intelligence and awareness.

There are firstly the titan made beings like mecha gnomes and earthen but I am hesitant to count them since they are just life forms made by god’s they just so happen to not be made of flesh.

How far have the mortal races come in building thinking feeling bits tho?
Many of the robots we meet in the game do speak and some speak very normal.

Do we already have thinking self aware robots in wow? Do we have artificial intelligence?

Or are they just really really well programmed to stimulate life?

Just looking for your thoughts and maybe lore knowledge you have.

At first i was amazed and bit scared of so called “AI”. However, with the time, to me “AI” in it’s current iteration appears to be nothing more than inefficient power hungry therefore polluting patterns calculator.

Also inteligence needs to have senses and sensations, which AI doesn’t.

As for constructs in WoW, well, it’s a fantasy game so we can to have belief in our heads that they are fully selfaware.

Not sure, but I think the engineering stuff like Jeeves and such come closest?
