Feral is virtually unseen, people will just ask you to go boomie which is kinda a shame;
Guardian on the other hand is great; It’s virtually impossible to ninja cap a flag when a good bear is defending it, and you last for years;
Beware magic damage though, you’ll still get 1 shot w/o defensives.
Idk if I’d call it fun, but it does the job in getting me gear and some achievs. Plus the spot is pretty much guaranteed if you’re reliable, most people wanna dps. Don’t count on playing feral in rbgs for sure, you will be shuffling between bear and boomie as the poster above mentioned. Feral is my arena and main spec that I use for most things, meaning I gotta maintain 3 leggos for 3 specs and a bit more gear. It makes things varied though, I enjoy it overall, can’t imagine not maining druid anymore. Having some good fun on shammy and monk as well atm though 2-3 toons is a sweet spot.
The novelty of being hard to kill wears off quite fast because in return you hardly kill anyone either. Flag carrying is sometimes fun, sometimes not, and always very repetitive. Sitting nodes is doable, but a moonkin does this better and moonkin has damage.
So, you know, try it out, but don’t expect much.
(I cannot say much for feral, I don’t enjoy feral in bgs at all, but I lack experience with it, so I will leave it to others.)
