Hey, looking to level a DH for PvP purposes, will probably do some raiding/mythic+ but mainly looking for viability in PvP.

Disappointing. Our survivability has gone down dramatically and without The Hunt we have no burst whatsoever. Eye Beam tickles.
I don’t get why in the world a melee class has a channelled ability that can be kicked. Why is Monk Fists of Fury uninterruptible but Eye Beam is not?

Dogsh*t. You’re better off with literally any other class right now, because HDH deals no damage, has no leech and can be interrupted on every single cast.
You walk into a fight, you CC, it lasts for 1 millisecond, you get your a** handed to you because you get interrupted out of everything.
OR alternatively, you get sapped by a sub rogue and die 2 seconds later after receiving 37,000 damage in those 2 seconds.

Ah yes imagine making a melee class and giving their main nuke a channel that can be kicked, because what else is the enemy going to kick? Your Hearthstone?

Judging Xunamate, we have the least playrate of any class too. And our current playrate for the day is 1.62% both in 2s and 3s. Unbelievable.
Useless in PvE; even getting kicked from Raids due to the insanely low damage that doesnt even get offset by the 5% magic debuff for other classes, mediocre AoE damage that only shines during a 4 Minute Cooldown and completly useless apart from The Hunt in PvP.
Just… wow. Unbelievable. 2 weeks in and I already have no joy of logging in anymore.

They might as well have deleted the class. This is the most ridiculous nerfing I’ve ever seen in WoW. I don’t think you ever had a class that has no good spec.

Well im playing prot in arena and so far ive been 1 shotted 4 timea by a dh, the hunt dmg od the 4 oneshots are 32,7k 33.1k 30.5k and 34.1k… and eventho its only 1 spell but isnt that all u need a free kill in arena to make it 3v2
I already rerolled to rogue, the god class.
screenshoots ? Or is this another nerf dh post ? I’m venthyr but i hardly believe a DH can do 30k+ dmg in 1 ability without everyone yelling how broken we are.
On the other hand its fine if rogue does it.

Still waiting, meanwhile i was watching soda stream for fun, so he is doing some arenas, so they meet this pally who is tunneling his hunter, which is full hp then dies, everybody asks what happened he says i got hit by 12k from a pala skill (forgot the name sorry) and 15k (forgot the name sorry).
So ye its not the famous dh imba 34k, but the paladin killed a hunter full hp in 2 globals 27k dmg in 2 skills, 2 globals.
And thats not the exception thats what happens every time they meet a retri, so you can just watch the stream at any point and take a look at paladins.
And then i remembered i have a paladin friend who needs to show the 34k spell…

Tanks also take increased damage in pvp so the chances of them being hit for big crits by any class is high anyway.

I am NF with 188 ilvl and the rare hunt soulbind and the highest my hunt ever crit was for 15k, usually it’s around 10k though. I heard stories of people who pushed it to 20k with trinkets+momentum (maybe some dres shenanigans too) but I doubt you can do 30k with it.

He/She maybe got confused with someone using the hunt skill in torghast with anima powers and pvp…because the only way you can get this number with the hunt is in torghast.

You are brittle, you are interuptable, you die in a single stun and the best thing about all of this is, that outside of meta, you are just The Tickler.
On the other hand PvE state is … its time to have fun elsewhere, my fellow HDH …
