How is elysian decree in PvP?

Hello,

I’m in doubt with the demon hunter i’m leveling. I hesitate, for covenant, between bastion and night fae.
I really like Elysian decree. I find it really versatile for solo and group content, and the potions are handy. Yet, the hunt feels so good in PvP : I mainly do BG, and a 50yd rooting charge on a runner or a back healer is so useful. I like it a lot less in PvE.

So, is elysian decree still usefull in PvP with added survivability ? I’d like a pratical return from those who have it

P.S : it’s mainly an alt for fun. I may tank but it’s not my top priority.

i took elisian cause i wanted an alt that can tank, its kinda hard hit it in pvp…

elisian decre hits like a truck tho, u would lose way more in pve taking Hunt thant in pvp taking Elisian. so if u value pve and pvp 50% 50% then elisian tho if ur like 80% pvp idd say go hunt.
but consider DH is pure trah in pvp and u should do it only for fun.

I’ve critted people for like 7-8K with Elysian Decree so it’s ok in terms of damage. It’s just that you need to pair it with other CC to keep people in the area of effect.

I would say that the Kyrian potion is probably more useful in PvP than Elysian Decree overall, since you can spec it into auto-healing you below 35% on the third soulbind, which should help a bit if you get bursted down in a stun.

Ok, thanks. I dind’t thought of looking at the soulbinds.
I think i’ll go Kyrian. My hunt usually stay dormant while I PvE… I’m just not into it except in PvP battlegrounds.
