How is it to play on Draenor server?

Im playing on tarren mill its kinda decent here, but i also consider moving to draenor server maybe next patch, more people, more buyer, more trading opportunities!

I’m gonna have to build a wall. No more immigrants. Draenor was really amazing during WoD and then tons of people moved and now its meh. We couldnt even log to the game at bfa launch cause draenor was down. Better find another realm.

It also stops you doing many things like trade and doing any mythic raids before its cross realm.

Out of curiosity, how many of you are there (not including alts) ?

Yeah, all i can read is advice for new players all just go to draenor/silvermoon depending on faction haha

Well I am unsure of exact numbers because some will only server change later on and some are staying in our old “sister” guild keeping in touch through the community.
I currently know of around 10 ppl.

Draenor is only really problematic to get into during expansion launches, and only if you try to log in during peak times. Outside of the AH instances were generally fine.

Draenor for me was a simple choice, since I was looking for a guild raiding during the weekend. There aren’t many such guilds anymore, so it was either staying on Kor’gall, or move to Draenor.

Still, I’d personally recommend going for Draenor. Tarren Mill and Kazzak are also good options if your group’s main focus is raiding, but I am not sure what the server community is like there.

Because every other realm is dead. I cant understand how people can play any other servers than biggest ones, unless you dont like other people and prefer solo. I prefer solo too, but its nice to have people around.

I personally started on this dead server because my ex and his brother already had characters there.

I dont regret being here because of all the friends i found here and also my current partner.

But now we are the last horde raiding guild on the server who cleared heroic EP and it was on a new level of frustrating.
Just this expansion we had 5 whole horde guilds transfer away or stop playing.

Draenor is fabulously busy which is why I live there, I also chose a busy Alliance realm in Silvermoon.

Would you recommend it from the view of a solo player who doesn’t play dungeons/raids etc? I’m thinking of having another bash at an alliance character and have seen you speak quite highly of it.

I actually just do casual stuff on my Alliance alts and Silvermoon just provides a nice busy server with lots of players and a thriving AH. So that’s all I want.

If you want to play Alliance go Silvermoon, if you want to play Horde go Draenor.
