How is the mount farm going for you?

My weekly farming looks like I try Sha of Anger, Marrowfang, Freehold, Tomb Stalker with 12 characters.
5 try Galleon and 5 try Oondasta.
5 Garrison Invasions for 4 possible mounts.
That’s the fixed weekly farm for me, unfortunately I only have 12 max level characters, the 5-5 trial ones are 50+.
There are also 3 small characters, Galleon, Oondasta and Sha once a week.

I did all the Garrison Invasions during the WoD, I guess you can solo trigger and do all the fights solo these days.

I’m still missing the Underrot and Mechagon mounts. I usually try to go on one char a week. I’ve just not been in the mood for mass farming. Been slacking lately as my partner in crime has been AWOL. Seems insane considering how many times I’ve completed Underrot as an M+ dungeon. In all the time that I’ve done Mechagon for M+ I’d only seen it drop once, not for me sadly.

Once they made the change to the Pandaria bosses after they messed up with Evokers, I parked up every character I had to do that boss. Finally got Sha and Galleon mounts after a month or so of farming.

I haven’t been farming mounts lately, and since Hardcore Classic went live I’ve practically lived on there instead.

At the moment I’m only doing:
Dragon Soul for Blazing Drake (for a long time), sometimes on 2 or 3 characters.
Firelands for 2 mounts on my mage, might switch to an alt that doesn’t have many mogs in there soon.
Ulduar for Mimiron’s Head on my Hunter. This is a saved lockout so only need to kill Yogg himself.

Alting in mount hyjal for cool flame hypogrph. Got midnight, old karazhan wathorse and firelands ground mount last 2 weeks. Maybe i try glory of firelands raider or gathering storm quest mount.

I have been playing continuously since October 2021 and I started farming mounts about a year and a half ago. So there is plenty of choice where to start.
I try to divide it into daily levels and it doesn’t take that much time.
The 12 max level characters are at Sha of Anger, but 500+ kills after the “buff” and still nothing…
I gave up only one farm and that is Glacial Tidestrom. I like that the best, but it takes a lot of time before I gather at least 6 people and do it 12 times. I have about 240 kills in it and it’s good if I saw the mount fall out 4 times.

There are so many “rare” mounts now that the rare thing is actually meeting someone who doesn’t have one.

I’ve stopped farming mounts a few years ago. So much time wasted for something so meaningless.

Besides, I’ve recently got this one and I’ll probably keep it for a while.

Why do you do that? Do you find it fun? Whats the motivation?

i have never actively farmed a mount in my life.

I’ve dialed down on my mount farm.

Nowadays I only have a few chars that I log on to try for a few mounts

Main char, I only do Mythic Guldan and Argus, and only whenever I remember lol

I have a few alts parked at Oondasta and Rukhmar that I attempt now and again.

That’s it.

I don’t have any mount farming going at the moment.
My interest in mounts is at an all time low.
Not in the least because of Dragonriding and how Blizzard chose to handle that.

Currently I’m collecting the PvP Vicious mounts, I only need 6 more.

Took a 5 months break after Invincible finally dropped and got the 500 mounts achivement. I was completely burned out. I thought, why spend so much time farming something thats not even rare anymore. Everyone has everything, thats the feeling you get in a major city.
I stick to easy farms, raids who got skips…rares from LFR, using discord and joining easy farms. Nothing hard core anymore.

From whole list of mounts there is only two which i really like most in which I fell in love: Vengeance’s Reins and Glacial Tidestorm. My heart is broken because of that I’m not able to make runs to get them :sob: Mythic loot only. I’m not even able to run it solo normal difficulty, it’s impossible to go higher. When I only be able to solo farm them, I leave everything, I’ll make another 10 characters and I will start farming this two precious diamonds. That’s my biggest objective in whole game which I must reach and I will do it……in few years :slight_smile:
