A lot of players and it is pretty balanced, maybe there are a little bit more on Alliance.
This is the most fun I am having in WoW for ages. I never played original classic and this feels like I am playing original classic. People everywhere, can get in 5 mans even at complete graveyard hours, it’s great. Wish even more people were lucky enough to discover this.
I’m playing on Dreadnaught and it’s been great so far. It’s always a good choice to pick the most populated server so you don’t have to pay for transfers later.
Are you Horde or Alliance??
I went Horde this time just because I was Alliance in Classic and I wanted something new, but I feel like I did a terrible mistake and I may be tempted to go to back to Alliance.
I leveled horde in Dreadnaught. I see more allys in Horde zones that hordes. So I can really see it.
It’s fine, although I get ganged by higher lvl allys all the time xD
Stick with it! If horde players start just re-rolling alliance it’ll make it worse. It’s not THAT bad, granted I’m only level 30 but the fact there’s a little more ally isn’t affecting me at all.
30/70 alliance too many…
Probably the case in classic tbc.
I levelled in stranglethorn several hours today and yesterday as horde and it was fine. Seems more like 45/55 than 30/70, doubt that later figure is correct. The way you guys were talking about it i was expecting it to be hell but it was fine, most ally just ignore you.
Well I levelled to 60 in first week.
How could my anecdotal experience ever compare to your experience right now?
You cant convince those guys.
When a server goes live, they are ganked in stv, they run to the forums and start crying. Always.
Look at this topic:
Alliance crybabies: “Waaaaa horde is 70%”
Horde crybabies: “Waaaaa ally is 70%”

Reality: Almost 50/50.
Maybe 45/55 atm.
There is like 40-45k vs 45-50k auction house postings for any given time.
Alliance is clear majority and reasons for you downplaying it are clear.

good population
The majority are alliance players so it is a real challenge to level sometimes. I got a late start so i’m only 34 atm, but that has allowed me to venture into STV, Desolace, Hillsbrad and Arathi (the main pvp zones for mid to high level), and the difference in faction balance is evident.
Very active realm 
U will find ppl to do all kind of content (PvP or PvE).
Ironforge.pro shows that the active population is divided 68/32.
Alliance majority of course.

Ofc i know its not 50/50, but not 80/20 too. But ironforge.pro is crap too. Best way to estimate go and check ah volumes with tsm scan and compare it.
You and other 3-4 forum posters spamming forums everyday about faction balance. What you expect really? Do you think blizzard magically changes all alliance to horde with 1 button?
You made a choice and accept its consequences as an adult. Or just reroll because nothing will change as vanilla, as tbc and as 17 years of game history…
Yes actually, Blizzard have that power.
Free transfers and faction changes to horde side only of Dread until its 50/50.
I think its absolutely hilarious how many people blame the players for balance issues that any reasonable game designer would be able to fix in an afternoon.

I didnt see they managed to save a server with faction change in years. I do wish they can, but not probably. Things just go worse day by day in unbalanced servers unfortunately.
Actually i deleted my ally 60 at dreadnaught and rerolled horde yesterday, because being on crowded side is more boring than being underdog. And long queues is sucks.
