Doing dungeon, we nuking it… no1 said anything.

and i just get removed from group as we pull final boss… i get booted instantly from dungeon so i miss the completion bonus AND u get deserter debuff for 30 mins?

The debuff itself has been part of the system almost since the Vote to Kick system was introduced. It became an unfortunate necessity as certain players would urge the group, by request or by being a nuisance, to vote them out in order to avoid receiving a deserter debuff.

I believe a lot of people understand the frustration with how the system currently works. It isn’t fun being removed from a group and having to sit out for 30 minutes because that also gave you a debuff.

While I cannot speak for the Game Development teams, it is extremely unlikely that the current system would be removed. While you may see the benefits, the system does a great deal to help prevent griefing in groups, so it is functioning the way it needs to. That doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement and if you have feedback/suggestions for that, I would encourage posting that and engaging in productive discussions on what you believe would be a better system. I can say with some certainty that the current system isn’t likely to change without something else to go in its place.

If you have a proper suggestion, you may submit it through the ingame feedback box. If it’s a new or better suggestion I may also add it to my list above :>

Proposals so far include but not limited to:

• “Just remove it” The darkest times will come back again
• “Reduced cooldowns stacking upwards” so that if you aren’t kicked often, it starts with a minor debuff.
• “Reduced cooldowns, stacking downwards” so if you’re in a “good” party, then when they surprisepikachu kick you at the end the cooldown is lower.
• “Warning before Debuff” - When you get removed from dungeon you get a Warning but allows you to requeue, if you get kicked again you get debuffed on subsequent leaves.
• “Add reporting for kicking” - This is akin FF where they investigate if someone is really, really using votekick so often and gets reported for it that often as well. WoW used to do this.

Yeh this is one of those cases were the thing they were trying to solve was less severe than the solution. If someone was “griefing” and asking to be kicked I would most often just oblige and wait again. The so-called “solution” however punishes people with no intent of griefing who are just playing the game and getting abused just because other people don’t want their class, think they’re badly geared or just pure malice. It is a terrible system and it should be revoked. Many times when I join a group of 3 people that que together they kicked me before last boss to keep the gear; this has to change.

The issue here is that LFG was not intended for solo players. If you previously group with other 2, then there’s no worries for getting votekick. Most of the PVE content is oriented to group/guild/friends gameplay. Basically, we’re forcet to it, even in LFG/LFR

yea i think this was literally the case.

kicked so i couldnt roll on Herods loot, as it was a good couple of melee people leveling, Joke is, most people in Heirlooms, so why do u even care? u outlevel what drops in like 2 hours
