How long a patch usually last?

Hi all,
how long a patch last? For example if I spend August in trying to get gear. will I have time in september to start arena and enjoy my gear?

Benthic Gear alone should give you a 425 item every week or so. So will M+, heroic warfronts and PvP if your rating is good enough.

You may want to keep your manapearls until you need to fill the holes in your gear, it gives you the most agency over your gear although you may not find the stats you need in the ~3 items available per slot)

Dunno how much you’ll need in PvP but if you use all the tools available you should be able to quickly reach 425.

We won’t have any huge ilvl increase before at least 3 months afaik so you should be fully geared by september and use it for a few weeks at the very least.

There should be a major patch every 6 months, with a .5 patch inbetween bringing more content but no real ilvl increase (+30 max ilvl increase per big BFA patch)

You can expect 8.2.5 to be available in 2 or 3 months, and 8.3 in 4~6. You’ll have to farm New gear in 8.3 but whatever high ilvl gear you get now will stay relevant until then.

Benthic Gear is obtained in Nazjatar and can drop from WQ, rares or bough with 5 manapearls per item. You’ll need about 80 more manapearls to upgrade them to 425 ilvl which is 5ilvl below heroic raid loot.

Imho one of the best gearing systems they put in WoW.

Pick your bis item for each slot, buy tokens until you get it among the 3 different ones and upgrade it.

how many days I have to do quests for a piece of gear? Do I get anything lets say with three days of daily questS?

A piece of benthic gear costs 5 pearls, there are quests that award 5-7 easily, just to put it in context, i have earned 156 pearls since thursday, that enough to buy every single benthic gear piece and upgrade some of them. It’s pretty easy to get them overall, once season 3 starts i expect it to get even easier.

Can I get something with two days playing? And the largest rewards for now are 415?

That depends on what you do in those 2 days, but yes you should be able to. No, you can upgrade Benthic gear to 425, and there are some crafted items that go to 440.

Specially with the addition of benthic gear.

but just doing dailies? So how many dailies I need for two 425 items?
