How long did BFA last?

People are saying it’s the longest expansion in WoW’s history and I actually didnt even think of that.

I played through most of it, I took an 8 month break as a personal tragedy occurred and came back on “part time, moderately invested in progressing” basis during the Siege of Daz, then another 6 week break during the finale of Eternal Palace.

I came back recently, and have left the game well alone awaiting Shadowlands and have dived into Elder Scrolls online in the downtime

How long has BFA lasted from Launch to November 2020?

The Battle For Azeroth lasted until the end of patch 8.1. After that for some reason Blizz decided to end the Battle For Azeroth half was through the expansion and sent us to fight some Sea Witch and a Purple Blob with eyes and tentacles who whispers creepy things.

Lets hope Blizz sticks to the theme of the expansion with Shadowlands.
