How long do PvP seasons usually last in Classic?

I haven’t played WoW since Legion and this is my first time stepping into Classic servers.

Do you have an idea of how long a PvP season usually lasts?

Rough guess, I’d say around 20 weeks (so we’re not even halfway through the first season yet). But does anyone have more reliable info? Maybe based on how long Season 1 lasted in Classic TBC / WotLK / Cata?

I think they said they was making the expansions shorter during cata so around 18 months to fit 4 seasons in probably 4.5 months each season.
