I select the soulshape i want but it does not take form right away. Not even after a min of waiting. Sometimes the game would select a random soulshape for me.
How long does it take for the selection to stick?
Edit…went alt tab to read a bit. 10 min. Still the soulshape is not updated to the one i selected. I selected raptor and got a bee. A bee i did not even select.
Half an hour later after a log out. Still got the bee. gee

Yeah I had this happen turns out you need to actually leave the night far area the one in the main hub you need to talk to a nelf I think that is nearby the guy who changes the regular soul shape
I’ve never had this happen, if I’ve been in a soulshape then I’ve had to cancel the soulshape and its usually up on the next cooldown.
Might be a bug if this isn’t working for you so you should report it in game.
You just have to come out of soul shape form and then go into soul shape form again.
However it sounds like you have a crittershape set which works in rested areas.

Crittershapes, of which the bee is one take precedence in rested areas, to get say your raptor to work you either need to leave the rested area, or talk to the crittershape npc and disable crittershape so that the raptor will work everywhere.
You have to talk to the other Npc for critters, and say that you don’t wanna be a critter anymore.
Ok fair enough though blizz assumes a heck of a lot with us and how much we know considering there is next to no information given and no instructions other than the ability to change. Nowhere does it give restrictions. No one is told. We have to find out on our own.
My selected one just never works unless Im in a main city. Not sure why unless you cant have your selection in warmode and pvp. Seems dumb if thats the case.
