How long does it takes to unlock the BFA races? (especially the newest one, cute fox looking race)

I am close to level 90 and will maybe powerlevel to BFA content through dungeon finder, I wonder how long does it actually takes to unlock the allied races? (considering I will start the rep farm from 0)

2-4 months, depending how much grind per day you can withstand

I’d say more towards 1½ months to two as some weeklys give double rep and you can get extra with the dark moon faire.

Skipping the zones with dungeons is kind of shooting yourself in the foot as you easily get at least Honoured with the factions from that. So if you want vulpera, you really should do Vol’dun, if you want zandalari, you really should do Zuldazar.

aye. agrees with Drae
because you also need to finish each zones storyline to be able to unlock the race.
so you need to finish the whole voldun storyline, and get to exhalted with them to get the quest to unlock the vulpera. (its also worth it as there is a nice bag you can get from them that you can buy)

If you play the game as should be (quests and world quest), you can reach revered reputation within a month.

Also when 120, get those contracts for their reputation as well as you get 10 rep points per WQ done. Not much but if you cleared every zone levelling you get a lot of WQ’s to make it another 250-500 extra rep a day.

What are those contracts?

This is the Wowhead guide to reputation in case it gives you any idea you’ve missed. The Dark Moon Faire is currently up and running so that will give you a rep bonus if you go and grab it hourly.

In a nutshell:-

  • quest through the zone, including the dungeon quests
  • clear WQs daily
  • complete any emissaries for Voldunai
  • do Island Expeditions to gain dubloons to buy ‘Shimmering Shell’ from IE vendor (gives 250 rep)
  • contract for Voldunai (adds 10 Voldunai rep to any WQ you complete)
  • complete any faction assaults for Vol’dun
  • missions for Voldunai reputation

Reputation contracts are items that can be made by Inscription. You can buy them on the AH. They apply a 7 day buff that gives you an extra 10 reputation with a spesific faction every time you do any BfA world quest. So if you get, for example, a Rustbolt contract, any WQ you do on Kul Tiras or in Zandalar will give 10 reputation points with Rustbolt Resistance too.

It takes me about 1 month to unlock Void Elfes, Lightforged Draeneis and Kul Tirans with boosted character so I skipped leveling.

Then I used Faction Change Token to avoid leveling and grinding for Horde Allied Races.

Some are really quick (you can grind honorbound in a week if you do all the war campaign storylines) and others will take you about a month if you do every WQ available, maybe two if you take your time and only focus on the efficient stuff

Takes about a month for each faction. If you do them all in parallel, be prepared for ~3h of daily grinding every day.

Zandalari and Vulperas are simple: just do storyline quests on Zuldazar and Vol’dun, those should be enough for you to hit Revered no problemo, then when you unlock WQ buy contracts. Same for Kul Tiran. Maghars and Dark Irons should be easy if you do War Campaign and do all WQ because those two offer WQ in other continent so there are lots of them to grind out without waiting them to show. Mechagnomes are going to be hardest and longest. Get hat when Darkmoon is live. Don’t forget to check out your calendar if there’s bonus weekly reputation event which gives 50% buff.
