I just need to get 40 and to do the chain quest or have i to do others quests ?
As I remember needed a lot of time to unlock Zandalari, but maybe now is easier
You need to reach 40 level as any character and then go and complete quest in embassy.

Nobody wants to grind old content for a race unlock so its good that they’re basically free.
It still makes me kinda sad, since i spent ages on getting the rep on all of them.
“Nobody” is a strong statement, there’s a lot of Lore tied up in those older quest lines.

Yeah, it was awful grinding that reput. But when I unlocked one, I had the satisfaction of accomplishing something that not all players would have had the patience to do. And some questline for them was really good, like Suramar.
Well, I ended up not playing any or them, but I really like some of them.

I’ve never worked on those reps, but I did unlock all alliance races + Mag’har during SL when it still required story achievements. That was ok for someone like me who actually cares about the lore.

Shame everyone wants it “now now now” like a spoilt kid these days, I did grind them all out and it was fine.
I think unlocking them by completing their questline is a good compromise.
Yeah, now it’s basically an optional thing if you want to know where your race came from. The devs could put a small note saying “check this out if you want to learn more about your race” as some might be interested in it. I personally am glad i did it during BFA as it was a reason to explore all this content but the way it is now is probably better in the long term i feel like.
i enjoyed unlocking some of them it added a small pinch of feeling that old expansions were still somewhat relevant. now it’s just free which is also okay
