How Method guild is infecting wow section on twitch

I scrolled through wow section on twitch today, and lo and behold: 28 of the 50 first streams had
< Method > in the title. Is it only me who dislike the Method hegemony on twitchs wow section? It cant be good. How can anybody compete when Method is highjacking every successful streamer? They dont want people to be independent and successful like Asmondgold etc. Independent successful streamers are a threat to Method, but a blessing to the community… I do not like the way things are developing at all!

And what do you suggest? Ban them off of twitch?
If they want to stream they can stream, not much to do about that :grin:

apparently yes, if you don’t like streams to be sorted by views you can pick your favorite ones and follow them.

Method dominate the way they do on Twitch for WoW at the moment because they’re streaming themselves a lot while they’re trying to get the world first Mythic BoD clear.

Even without this they’ve got many individual streams between them on Twitch.

^Pretty much this, you can choose to follow streams and block those that you don’t like.

I quite like some of the Method streamers, and watch a few of them somewhat regularly.

Because they’re so damn hardcore, I know they actually deliver on the one thing I want from a WoW twitch stream: Someone playing WoW!

They’re pure gameplay-driven streams, and I like that.
Right now they’re a bit more interesting than otherwise, because the world first race is a thing, so there’s that.

No, I think OP would suggest banning the people who are watching them, since it is those people who are making the streams appear higher on the page, though as Dinxli says, OP could just go directly to what he wants.

OK, now I’m really confused. You think Method is going for the World First to throw shade on Asmongold? You do know there is a WF sttampt being streamed? Or are the people watching Method’s streams in a vast conspiracy against small indie streamers like Asmongold?

Yikes so Edgy.

Asmongold is a good streamer he’s funny he’s realistic, you don’t compare competitive wow with funny streams.

If i enjoy watching Asmongold it’s because i prefer spamming “Pepega One of Us” than following a progress.

Bald God aside, why would method feel bad about their Race ?

How are they a problem to WoW streaming, people watch Esfand, Nixxiom, Asmongold, Lapi in France, Mcconnel, Even Josh Method.

I mean Esfand, Nix, mcconnel and asmon kind of left the streaming of the game since it’s currently trash.

Some WoW streamers are participating in the event and the mythic race is bringing way more reach and viewers than any mount/pet/reaction/cooking… WoW stream would in the same time.

Players need sponsors to make money in game. Its not allowed to make real money from the game.

Well world first even called esports?? It just people who race for glory. There is hardly any “good amount of money” involved in it.

If you wanna watch some good esports then watch DotA etc.

Inshort it’s not worth discussing. Btw I am not against people who follow and enjoy world first race.

What makes you even think they don’t want streamers to be independent? Because other streamers choose to host their stream for easy views?
It’s a pretty huge event going on if you have not noticed, last night 26 guilds were competing for worlds first BoD. Methods main stream had over 66k people watching them wipe for the 250th time on Jaina.

I fail to understand, what’s so bad about Method streamers, but good about independent ones?
It seems like it’s the whole point of your post, yet you gave no support or explanation for it.

the only reason i have twitch is because im forced to in order to use curse maybe its a young persons thing but i just dont get why you would watch someone playing a game when you could play the game yourself

It’s so funny about people care about streamers and twitch. Watch for yourself why you care about anothers? I don’t like watching streams i prefer playing self.

This is the first time, they’re streaming a raid progression on mythic difficulty this early and this clean. Of course people are interested to watch the world first.

What am i supposed to watch in wow section, if i don’t watch method? See a bunch of island expedition farmings? A guy sitting there doing battlegrounds and arenas 24/7? Or should i watch asmongold watching other videos for 5 seconds and then talking one hour about it and then resuming the video to watch another 5 seconds to talk another one hour about those 10 seconds? and when he’s done watching the videos, he starts to complain about every aspect he can think of about WOW, including the good parts. and then Mcconnell on the background shouting about dead game every 5 seconds, and repeating twitch prime subs every 10 minutes? No thanks. He’s good to watch for a short duration. But constant nagging about the things we know is bad and the things we don’t agree with are bad, isn’t really that enjoyable. I’d rather watch method. And yes. You’re one of the very very few people who doesn’t like this method streaming.
