As the title says it is very rare in wotlk?
It is a transmog item. And it totally depends on your server and if anyone is willing to buy it. If you put it up for 50k but nobody wants it it is not worth 50k. If it is sold for 250g it is worth 250g or more.
EDIT: It was a bug early in classic that made this sword very farmable so bots was farming it 24/7

I think you are mistaking it with teebuz which was inside lock boxes from brd which was botted by pick pocketing bots and therefore on the Ah in masses for 250g+ during TBC
No. The rare mob had a bugged spawn so he pretty much insta respawned. Bots where camping his spawnpoint and killed it 24/7.
Ok well I didnt know about that one, but even if… the sword got farmed by many during tbc on dead realms who then transferred to big ones.
Dont think it will surpass 25k in cata max

It was so expensive in Cata because there wasn’t many around, people didn’t know transmog was going to be added so all the sought-after BoE transmogs hadn’t been so heavily farmed as they are now.
With the amount of swords in circulation, I wouldn’t expect the price to be very high at all. You also only need 1 per account for transmog instead of one per character, because it looks a lot like we’re getting the retail version of transmog.
