How much MMR in shuffle work?

Can anybody explain how the MMR system works.

I did 3:3 because one healer went 6:0, my rating stayed the same but my MMR went down like 21? The next game i won 5 out of 6 rounds but I only gained 3 rating? Seems a little strange.

Let me guess, caster lobby? You lost MMR most likely because other DPS performed better than you and as for 3 rating for 5 wins, I cannot say anything, unless you was like 1700-1800 and got into 1200 lobby somehow

MMR system work stupid, specialy for healer… guy which have like -30 less ratting than you is considered a low rated target and system expect you to win ALL rounds. Which is unrealistic… in reallity even -+150 ratting not make much difference

healers have it worse.

you only compete against the other healer and if you go 3-3 which happens most of the games as a healer, you get 0 rating
hell you can go 4-2 or even 5-1 and still get 0 rating

as a healer you NEED to win 6 rounds to gain any benefit , because it matchs us with low rated players often,

whereas if you are a dps , you are competing against 3 other people and generally have an easier time gaining rating

If you lost that much MMR for 3-3 it means you were already on a more negative streak therefore put in a lobby with slightly lower players than yourself.

Next lobby you only gained +3 because of the same thing, your MMR was probably lower than your CR and that was the positive game you needed to normalize it.

In the next games you play you should see more equal gains, and if you keep going positive you will see more gains and less punishes for negative games.

DPS MMR works based on who you win against in your rounds.

Let’s say you have 1750 MMR (random number example). The DK in your lobby has 1800 MMR, the Mage has 1740 MMR and the Warrior has 1700 MMR.

If you won all your rounds against the DK, who has more MMR than you, you are going to gain more rating overall and MMR. Respectively, if you lost all your games against the Warrior, who has lower MMR than you, you are going to lose the most rating overall and MMR.

By the logic of the lobby’s MMR, the DK is the top player in the lobby so winning against him means the most. By the same logic, the Warrior is the bottom player in the lobby so losing against him costs you the most. This means that if the DK goes 6-0, while being the highest person, he will get the least rewards and if he goes 0-6, will lose the most compared to any of the other DPS going 0-6.

Lose streaks, such as spam getting 2-4, 1-5 and 0-6, lower your MMR faster than your CR. Which means you firstly have to get out of the lose streak with a few good queues, until it starts going up normally again, then if you continue winning, it will start rewarding you with more than it normally would.

Win streaks give you bonus MMR, meaning if you do get one bad lobby where you go 1-5 or 0-6 etc you will lose less than you normally would.

I wasn’t on a negative win streak though…

I was at 10 wins 5 losses by this point. then 3:3 then 4:2

Send screenshot of your next lobbys ratings if you want more insight. BUT TLDR/the general way it works is Its your match making value / rating versus your current match making rating.

So for example, my monk was 1.4 vs 2k players, i won a lobby and was always gaining atleast 50 rating even when going losses 4:2, wins as I was playing against people I was expected to lose versus.

In Shuffle not eaven Blizzard can explain there MMR systhem anymore

There where stealth nerfs and buffs so High raited player still get Qs and then they change it so raiting is closer and then another time where as healer only the opponemt healer matter, witch have too be the worst desicion ever made
Also full green gear people that crash lobbys from 1.6 too 2.4, with not eaven halth of there abilitys bound

I have seen lobbys with people have the same mmr bot go 4-2 one gets +55 the other 0, or everyone gain raiting or all get a 0
