Iā€™m a very curious being , would love to see all those pie charts .
But on the other hand thatā€™s pretty normal they sell stuff itā€™s a business after all .

Is a conspiracy theory, which I very rarely agree with them.

However, I kinda tend to believe the BoE/Tokens theory in which the rates are lower so they can sell more Tokens.

That and the simple fact that they increased ( by A LOT ), the Token purchase limit. It was ā€¦10 Monthly, now is 20 ( !!! ) Weekly, and this change is since 2 or so months ago, right before Shadowlands release.

So there you have it folks. RMT at his finestā€¦Powered by Blizzard ! :slight_smile:

They made 100x more in BFA S4 where BoEā€™s where 100% corrupted while our gear drops had a chance like 0.00002% to corrupt.

Sounds to me like ppl have a lot of preconcieved ideas about marketing ?

By your logic if game is sub based they canā€™t sell stuff !? Wut ? They can sell whatever they like to thatā€™s how our world works .

But they are selling more then 1 thing. Toys, Mounts, etc, which is fine.

Tokens + BoE = P2W

Tokens + BoE = Making Rates Bad

So what do you suggest? Make everything bop? Farming boes is something a lot of people seemingly enjoy(for whatever reason). Removing tokens wonā€™t accomplish anything - boosts and rmt were part of the game since vanilla.

When do People understand this is business? I am quite sure if you had this company you would reverse it and make the game almost free. Stop this indie crap and Face the fact that blizzard is a company that need to earn profit. If you dont like it play another game or invest all your money in free games for everyone.

it sounds to me like you are a token addict.

forcing players to buy tokens in order to compete and get in content such as raiding and mythic+ (and even pvp) is not something you should defend.
there is a difference between a business decision and unethical business decision. what they are doing is very unethical.

in the last quarter alone blizzard made 1.4 trillion dollars from the games stores for its 10 games so much more than it makes from wow token sales

Lol, i made 30k gold with ONLY mining in less then an hur in the maw. Imagine if I had herbalism aswell. Ppl saying you need to buy tokens in order to play the game are just lazy tbh.

Well they havent earned anything with tokens that no one would have bought anyway, you gotta remember that the token are bought by another player that refills his sub, meaning he didnt have to play a thing to play the game for that month.
