Hello. How much time have you spent farming your dream mount? Maybe you’re still farming it? Which mount is it?
I spent nearly 6 years to get Raven Lord…
I have no idea how many years I spent farming the Love Rocket. I got it before the changes came in and you still ran it on as many alts as possible.
Im not someone who is going to spend a lot of time getting a mount, but i did make an exception with the bee mount.
That did take some research and time investment. I didn’t go hard it, but at the end of BFA, they increased rep gains and i believe thats why I went out everyday to do the daily and spent some time collecting the honey.
It helped that it was guaranteed that I would get it, so it was just a matter of consistency until i eventually got it.
I don’t really have any dream mounts. I just go to a place because I’m in the mood to give it a try and if I get it great, if not, then I’ll try again at some other point in the future 
I don’t think I’ve ever set myself a goal to do x raid/dungeon every single week until it drops.
The farming mounts, like Siesbarg and the Bee, was just in the mood to do them as I had nothing else to do, as I had completed all the quests the expansion had to offer at the time
Back in WotLK I had to kill Baron Rivendare 269 times before he dropped the mount.
This was also when mounts still was an item in your bags and it was really discouraging seeing “Dkkilldeathdk” prancing around on it in Dalaran with like 2 Rivendare kills in his statistics.
Too many kills for Invincible. So many that I have not farmed raid mounts since and I have plenty to still get.
Still trying to get stupid Blue Proto Drake.
Already exalted with 2 characters; maybe 300-400 tries.
So ducking sick.
It’s just 1 mount; can I have it?
My dream mount Spectral Tiger cannot be farmed, unless you think about irl money to buy tcg code, or 55m gold, but the prices are too insane to go for it 
Oh daaamn. I feel this pain… My raven lord on many alts took few expansions. From cata to legion lol
It took a good while for Ashes of Al’ar to drop for me. Funnily enough it dropped the same week I tentatively came back to the game after years away.
The horse from Karazhan was another that evaded me for quite some time, though I eventually got it.
Invincible still evades me…
I won’t mention Invincible because it’s a painful topic for me, but here’s my second favorite, which took over a year of on and off farming the 5 rings - mostly because one of the required quests for it is a daily, that shows up in the Maw, once in a blue moon:
2 minutes. Just till I fill my Credit Card number in the game-shop.
Bloodforged Courser. Took me 1392 days to grind it. (not total play time, just the days that passed since it was added to the game and me getting it.)
I never grind mounts, im not a collector so im not bothering with that.
Yeah, it hurts, especially since im not a collectionist; I literally just want that mount.
12 years of farming Invincible…I just wish ICC had something like Siege of Orgrimmar where you could skip all bosses and go directly to Arthas.

I got the 2 events mounts in a few months last year, but I never used them.
