It’s a lengthy article from a Russian blogger mostly focused on talking about lore from various fantasy settings and video games. From me. This post is about the Twin Empyreans never being concubines, but bodyguards instead.
In this case I really, really don’t care. The dungeon journal as a lore source is kinda stupid anyways. Instead of actually telling stories about those guys, they give us some random description from a random, but certainly not in-universe perspective, and that’s supposed to do something for immersion. Well… for me it certainly doesn’t. I do get annoyed when they change stuff my character actually experienced, or when they can’t get their story straight on the broad strokes of their world-building, but this? Eh.
Now, this is a bit of a waste of dev-time that could be used much better, sure. And the more dev time they put into that, the worse it is. But for 9.1.5 I get the feeling that they are not insisting on a lot of the usual red tape and just letting the low level devs do whatever they can and want to get done in time to throw into the “I’m sorry!”-basket. And if that’s the case, well, we shouldn’t be surprised that a few of the passion projects that devs can get through now without being stopped are a bit stupid. It’s not like changing the text would take much time, if it doesn’t have to go through many manegerial discussions.
