The fact is when you have 27 years of experience on the planet, its less than half of the knowledge, experiences and understanding of someone who is over 60, you may have different experiences and know much more in areas but overall for life experiences its much less.
After you have seen a few wars, famine, many goverments come and go, breakthrough achievements, genius insights, death of loved ones, society develop across all types of regimes and traveled to many countries and experienced many cultures it gives you a wider perspective compared to when you were young a more rounded view on life from many perspectives.
When you are 60 and look back to when your were 27 you will realise you knew very little.
No, thatās you and others. We can talk more about that, because let me havbe a guesser when you were young you didnāt give a damn. Letās be honest, you lived your life focusing on you, the daily life, and friends, family. - Parties, hangout, studies.
This is the issue though, there is a fine line between not giving a F and figuring out you knew nothing after many years, and then wanting to make the world better, and want to know a lot, at a young age, instead of partying, or only focusing on my own life, and family life ,and that.
In that aspect not a whole lot of people are different, but I am different than the majority because I do care.
Its about caring, and you have already shown me in other threads that you donāt give a damn, like its very obvious. You were an ignorant, naive, spoiled kiddo, and teenager, and young adult just minding your own business in life.
Donāt change the fact that mentality is linked to age, wether you like it or not.
Not hard to guess with my new world thinking, and not the oldschool garbage that keeps making the world a worse place that all young people adapt too.
There is a saying you canāt save the world so stop thinking about everyone else, and just focus on you.
Thatās what everyone does. And its terrible, that what makes them bad people, thatās what makes the world bad. We need more focus on human relation.
Notice your response, its disrespectful, quick to judge, making assumptions, thinking you are different, making it personal.
Look at other responses, they are quite the opposite, objective, measured, freely sharing experience, offering a different point of view and not judging others, not telling others what is right or wrong just offering a point of view.
Because I have seen these responses thousands of times, and its the same bullsittery, you are one in a line of many that dont give much for the future, or human relations, you do know the world is getting worse right?
Everything that has anything to do with one human interaction with another human is going downward. You think that just happend magically? There is a reason society, how you think, how everyone thinks, and by looking at most of your replies, and reponses I can tell you are part of the issue.
Same as most on the forum.
I can gaurantee you that when you were 19, or 25 you were not thinking about how kids in schools were feeling less compatible and didnāt feel calm or comfortable in the school rooms, or had issues with interaction with other kids, or teenagers, or adults, how many lost self esteem, or other things.
I doubt that in my heart of hearts, I bet you were just on the bangwagon of not giving a damn.
Iām frustrated with how everyone is ignorant to the fact that they themselves are the issues for the world we live in today. Most people hate it, but they are unwilling to change because of ego.
It is very easy to understand how issues start and how they can be fixed, the problem is fixing them is the battle, the battle canāt be won because I would have to persuade millions of millions of people that how they interact in daily life, their oppinions and morals are turned upside down.
Thatās why we will never fix this issue, thatās why the saying exist āYou canāt fix all the worlds problems, so give it up and move on living your lifeā
Not sure if thatās exactly how it goes but yeah. But I cant do that, I dont wanna be apart of hurting and abusing, using and destroying other people daily, I dont wanna breed stupidity, and ignorance, I dont wanna breed the āMe Me Me MEā mentality.
Itās so nice to have young and old people (and all those inbetween) in the forums. And I know that feeling about having a bad memory, it is something I stuggle with. Very forgetful at my age, so I worry about how bad it might become when I can truly call myself an old lady
Thanks for sharing that and you may not believe it but we are very aligned in the thoughts on the human condition, but i think its at a more fundamental level for humans as a species and for good reasons.
I donāt think using a gaming forum is really the most appropriate place to explore those views as on a forum like this you have no idea of what is going on with people on the other side of the screen, what is going on in their lives and what kind of state they are in. So their forum posts may not reflect their actual personalities but more of a dumping ground for frustrations and anxiety.
