How old are our characters? Do they age? How old is a character at the time of creation, and how many ingame years have passed since the first characters were created at the launch of vanilla?
Edit: Did i word this badly, or are people just not reading the post? I was trying to start some headlore theorycrafting about the ingame age of our characters, and half the posts are people telling us when they started playing/how long they played. That was not the point at all
Started playing as mage since BFA , After TBC classic launch started playing mage and Shaman till Wrath comes out . Quitted Wrath and back to retail as Evoker , Disc priest
In GW2, when you type /age, you get the total hours played on your character + on your account.
WoW’s /played only gives you the data for your character.
I think the general accepted timespan from vanilla to DF is 18-20 years. Ish.
So if you’ve been playing for all that time; they’re whatever you decided their starting age was + 18 years (give or take).
This girl is my oldest on the account (by now, anyway… first was a human pally that I deleted years ago).
She was created sometime during April 2019, but cannot recall an exact date sadly - she lagged behind that pally above, and decided to main her when I had fun at max level with healing.
I appreciate all the replies guys, but i think a lot of you misunderstood the post, hahaha.
I wasn’t asking when you started playing/created your characters.
I was wondering about the age of our characters, like, its pretty clear they arent 5 year old kids, but are they 20 years old? or 30? maybe 40? And have they aged since they were created, as a certain ammount of years have passed ingame? Or do they not age? NPCs have been known to get older as time passes, but do our charcters age with them?
Its just a fun thought, not something i expect a definite answer on.
