How on earth did delves get hotfixed but valorstone discount is still broken?

The discount for valorstone upgrades on alts is currently completely gone, for a third day running. No matter how much higher your iLevel is on your main, the alts are still asked full price. I’m sitting on piles of valorstones that I’m effectively unable to use. It would be one thing if there were no hotfixes out, but if the team has the time to push one out, how was this not the absolute top priority?

I am genuinely annoyed that destroying favourable tuning is considered higher urgency than fixing actual harmful bugs.

Same reason Blizzard will issue nerfs same day, yet make players wait for the reset for buffs.

It’s very telling how they operate. Punish first, then work on fixing things.

And it has been 2 weeks we have bugged dawn / dusk cloth drops…

Ladies and Gentlemen, I think it would be wise for all of us to report this as a bug to Blizzard. I did see a topic on wowhead about this. It’s probably known at Blizzard now I assume.

I assume it follows the same patterns as nerfs and buffs:

  • if something benefits the player, it’s terrible and must be fixed immediately.
  • If something benefits Blizzard, typically (But not always) at a loss to the player, it can wait until the next patch.

Sadly DF was much better expansion…

I gotta agree. Dragonflight had so much less issues and the catch up mechanics worked.
