I personally don’t think Paladins are very OP, sure they might be a cut above the average warrior, etc, but like… it’s the light. Anyone with some form of magical ability is a cut above a group of non-magical wielding people. That said, they’re not gods, I’m fairly certain twenty regular bandits will probably overwhelm a single paladin, but that’s not to say there won’t be fatalities on their side.
DK’s I feel are far stronger than Paladins, but not necessarily invincible just, they have abilities that are basically made to counter Paladins.
Also I think it’s also very much dependent on their faith. Stronger the faith, the stronger the paladin?
Absolutely overpowered in the most sensible sense of logic, mate. There’s a reason their training is so intense as it results in them being with ease, the strongest beings around on the average scale. Hell, like, your average Paladin is easily on par with your stronger other classes, no joke.
The light empowers them greatly, be it from the front or back, they’ll succeed easily whenever someone attempts to use a dirty trick on them, because the light is with them. Got any wounds? It’ll heal with incredibly speed alongside the ability to pull through immense pain and stamina loss, that it is not even fair to other lesser classes and/or races lore-wise.
Absolutely, no argument, is this a joke question or what? lol
They get blessings that let them do crazy feats like weild huge freakin’ anime weapons because of super strength via faith. The Light’s gifts are powerful and manyfold.
Impossible to answer without context. Nobody just “wins”.
I wouldn’t be so sure, to be honest. It took Tirion a dang prayer to the light before his ultimate demise to end him if not for a blessing it would have probably been his downfall imo, and even then, who weakens him? A group of Azeroth’s finest fighters… weakens him Not a single, seasoned paladin.
It’s the Draenei she-men suckling the Light through the hose of paladins which weakens their power level. Vows of celibacy are a forgotten tradition, unfortunately. A 30 year old Paladin under the vow of celibacy could EASILY defeat Kil’jaeden through the might of the Light
Yeah, you better be, pal. My goldfish could easily answer these beginner questions and he’s a fish (If you didn’t know that, by the by.)
I mean, is this a troll post or what, mate.
And just to further my point, yeah.
I haven’t expressed enough just how powerful the generic paladin is, sure, I mentioned that their training results in an ascended state of strength and whatnot, but that’s not all of it. Their mind ascends as well as they’ll become smarter, more able to outwit their enemy and most importantly of all, overcome every obstacle as time goes on because their faith is only held back by time.
Hell, I could even argue that your average paladin, with just a bit of time, could take on dragons in a one on one.
And that’s just the beginning of it, from the perspective of a paladin who has a couple of weeks, perhaps just a month under his belt.
Is ALL what he said, nothing much more
You can have a Paladin who matched several undead alone
You can have a Paladin which a ghoul can easily kill him
Same with ANY class, it’s not like what is powerful and what is not… Legion represented it well
