I’d imagine a the skill would translate to more than just picking plants irl so they might figure out how to counter and weed your plant.

After some reasearch your racials say nothing about resistance to acid therefor you would be able to be eaten by a carnivorous plant if I eas able to splice it in a way that allowed it to produce and deconstruct material using acid as its main reagent

Well, i think the existence of our characters is going to be enough to cause massive panic.
Undead shows up to the gym but the moment they bend down to lift something they flash there exposed spine and rotted muscles to everyone. I can imagine full panic of walking corpses.
