Just started my warlock leveling and been having a bit of fun with destruction so far. I eventually want to try some demon warlock out however is there much point since my character is a blood elf?
If i were to run a mythic raid for example on demon spec, with the exact same gear and the exact rotation would there be much of a difference in damage between blood elf and orc?
Well, your mastery boosts your pet damage, and racial gives 1% pet damage, we can assume that this racial is worth 1% of your mastery. It’s like 1-2 gems max, not much of a difference.
Ofc it will be huge difference for insane min-maxers.
So for your casual raider/pvper its not really an issue?
Of course not, for casual people every race will do as good in PvE, PvP may be tricky if you consider Human racial, or Orc stun reduction.

It’s not a big deal at all. It only increases your main demons damage by 1%, so despite what was said above, it is nowhere near the same as 1% of your mastery. Crit becomes a very important stat for demo, so the blood elf racial will be good. There is very little difference in racials, it’s not something to get hung up on. I’m sure the difference between all horde racials are within 1%.
