Im pretty sure dragonflight s1 is the main reason as to why we lost a season affix.
Its was arguebly one of the worst seasonal affixes and it didnt even give us that much of a damage amp.
From my memory we gained 5-7% more damage if you did affix to the max.
Thus this made it one of the hardest seasons we have had.
You can even argue that thundering made people be so sick of wow that they skipped 1 whole season. If you look at raider. io stats the amount of people dropped from S1 to S2 in dragonflight was around 4,2 million players.
Not as bad as it was during Shadowlands though, there everyone was quiting.
Thundering was the worst Affix, even Infested was a better affix and that pos blowed too.
Better than literally no CR.
Just doing 12s right now, and there’s several times that you go out of combat.
And so does every CC in the game.
Communication.
God dont remind me of the Underpin. Such a bad fight ![]()
Not well designed, yes. But not mechanically hard, either. And yet apparently still too much for our incessantly self aggrandizing born pro at everything under the sun godgamer-deluxe. ![]()
Especially funny because the fight is legitimately a joke for tanks.
Aye, unless of course the tank is themselves a joke… which brings us back to Vawek. Maybe he just needs a real tank like Brann to carry him, first, so he can understand the mechanics. ![]()
that seems to be the case
I was struggling with keys this season but this topic was great help. I timed my first couple of keys this season. Thank you sensei
Thats some very weird reasoning. Then mages, shamans, hunters(with pet) are also useless because “we can use hero only once every 10 minutes”?
Oh no, did my favorite person turn into vulpera monk?

Its just a cover, still playing the goat!
if the tank dies and isnt ressed instantly its a wipe
But curses arent a type of cc as it doesnt stop a mobs movement or ability to cast.
communication in m+ is something i have never seen nor heard of, and if there is communication is most likely a racial slur or crude language.
No its not weird reasoning, 2.5 seconds in any fight is a long time and is enough to cause a wipe or close to one.
Curses also only reduce the casts/attack speed and dont effect the pack immidietly. Unlike actual cc like stuns which give an effect instantaneous.
Destro warlock used to be the king of cc thanks to rain of chaos infernals being able to stun, but they removed that which was a huge nerf on our biggest cd that could make some pulls extremely easy as the pack would be stunned every second. Now its pure damage.
And no, you dont hold your infernal atm just to stun a couple mobs. Its would be stupid to do such a thing.
Other than destro with infernal we only have shadowfury, which isnt even instant cast but a 1.5 second cast.
But i bet there is some flaw im my thinking, as no one can be 100% right.
If only you could like, soulstone them before they die. Again, these conversations are never honest because they just revolve around highlighting the downsides of the utility instead of the upsides.
Heres another example of you just lying.
There isn’t one dungeon where you don’t get out of combat multiple times. Hell, its baked into the design of half of them (rookery, Theater, Mechagon, floodgate…) yea ok, almost all of them.
… And, without wanting to sound disrespectful, he´s also talking about “high keys” with MDI style pulling.
8s, 9,s and 10s however are not “high keys”… at the level he and I play at (formerly +/- 20, now +/- 10, and there´s absolutely nothing wrong with that), and the majority of M+ participants never reach to begin with, the entire discussion is more or less irrelevant with the exception of the purge /stun /interrupt issue, which really wasn´t particularly relevant until TWW, either. The whole discussion doesn´t really start to become valuable for anyone until you´re pushing into a level where the only reward is rating.
SImple problem, simple solution: Don´t pug.
There are more than enough decent communities like NoPressure that require no commitment, other than not behaving the way Vawek does here (those people generally get removed quite quickly) ![]()
i do this and they still wait for a br. But thats my experience with tanks.
Also im not lying, im talking from MY PERSPECTIVE
Whenever i finish a dungeon i useally review over my dps + hps and i notice people dont use healthstones the only people who use them are tanks, but again its what i have experienced.
And when i say you never drop out of combat in a dungeon, thats because what i have experienced. Or what the “good” groups i have had we never dropped combat as we continously do damage from pack to pack.
The problem i have with warlocks utility is that most of the time we dont use it in m+
In raids its always used but in m+ it requires specific parameters to be even useful. And if its found to be op blizzard just nerfs it to hell because they dont care about our class (at least from what i Feel not a fact)
The only dungeon in this pool which warlock is really useful is motherlode with earthragers as we can banish them, any of the other dungeons it doesnt really make a impact if we in the group or not.
Wow. Maybe run high keys before you talk about warlocks „non existent utility“. You lie with every single line you write.
i recently got back into PVE, having been into pvp since SL
i find doing +2 or +5 keys easy. even at my low ilvl of 650
think im around 1400 rating
i know its not amazing but ill be 2k+ by the end of the month im sure
+2-5 drops 639-645 gear. You are overgeared for those keys, not at low ilvl.
