I want to spam one button to autoattack but if I drag out the spell from spellbook it works like this: press one time and start autoattacking, then when I press one more time same button it stop autoattacking.
How can i make macro or something that I can just keep pressing as a habit and it will always autoattack, not stoping?
As far as I knew when you target a player as a melee and hit an ability (regardless of distance from them) your character enters the fighting stance and will automatically auto attack.
Just seems like an odd question, why would you want to stop attacking a player? You could just easily switch targets anyway.
We know, he had another of his threads closed down this morning after he tried fooling the forums by posting on 5+ alts there and liking all of his posts with his alts.
I thought you were the world’s best mage with a CR > 2500 (whatever that means)?
On the off chance this thread is serious: just right click to start autoattack. It won’t cancel the attack either, no matter how often you right click an enemy. No need for keybindings.
Step 1: Open macro panel
Step 2: Create a useless ( Completely ) macro
Step 3: Activate Autoattack
Step 4: Replace the autoattack button with the useless macro you just created a moments ago.
Congratulations! Now you can spam the useless button while your autoattack is active without effecting negatively on the game.
Problem solved. Next!
You can’t spam a button to auto-attack. It’s more like turning it on and off like you described.
An auto-attack is any kind of player or pet attack that will repeat automatically unless interrupted by the player or some other event. By default, most “vanilla” or non-special ability related melee attacks will start in auto-attack mode.
Normal ranged and thrown weapon attacks do not use auto-attack. Hunters need to use the Auto Shot ability to make their ranged attacks repeat automatically.
The default shoot ability for attacking with wands is a type of auto-attack.
