Hello guys, please help me a bit. If i heard right the dungeon boosting is nerfed already, so is there any other way to help my friend in leveling? He is really suffering with his low level paladin. (I know about heirlooms)
Other question if he already bought heroic edition and the char boost is gone, can i gift him heroic edition so maybe he is able to use the boost again?

You can always kill the mobs he tags in open world I guess. For pally it would be easy to tag with consecration or use ez throw dynamites / granades. But I think they nerfed the range you can pull mobs together.
Or you can use hallows end event and take him to the world pub-treat tour :] ( assuming you have mammoth ) I am not sure if it works as a multi-char mount, but it should. I ve read some comments on wowhead dated back to patch 3.0.3.

my friend and i rather would pay for 1-2 times instead suffer endlessly about bad class design leveling. Ret is doing melee hits with 1 judgement /8 sec until lvl 40? Joke
If he used a boost why do you need to boost him?
Because he would like a second character and hate leveling badly.
Taking him once through each dungeon for quests and equip won’t hurt, but he could just do normal groups for that. It’s more fun.
Your best bet is leveling a new character yourself, making it a healer, and forming dungeon groups with your friend as tank and you as healer.
Killing mobs he tags will reduce his kill-xp to close to zero unless he dealt more then 50% of the mob’s hp as damage. Being in a party with him will do the same thing for mobs that are gray for you.
Dungeon boosting is as mentioned, nerfed.
Aside from the fact that he can make or join groups that run dungeons? If he or anyone else wants to quest solo they can. Nevermind all the other people you need at max level. Drama much?
power leveling … just pickup all kill quests in every zone and clear it out with your high lvl char, move to next zone … skip on stupid running back and forth quests, quests with low drop rate …
Yes you will earn slightly less xp than by killing it on your own, or spamming dungeons, but you will quickly complete all quests and each zone will take you like hour or so …
Outside some addon to optimise the path he takes and heirlooms, with occasional help on grp quests there really isn’t any way to do so at the moment. The zones are extremely dated and the lfg system is effectively worthless even during primetime, for sub-wrath content.
