How to buff the Holy Paladins in raids without making them overpowered in Mythic+

  1. “Illumination” should increase Glimmer’s targets up to a maximum of 12. This change does not affect mythic+ and allows the paladin to scale in raids. With Daybreak at 45 sec, it is still extremely difficult to reach that cap, but with some procs of Glorious Dawn, you could reach around that Glimmer count and potentially hold Daybreak for 4-5 seconds to perform a significant ramp on the raid group.

  2. Strengthen Light of Dawn; currently, the spell is entirely useless. If you don’t want to go the route of a flat buff, you can increase the number of targets healed from 5 to 7/8.

  3. Strengthen the build that revolves around Martyr. I know that for many paladins, this is a nightmare, but it could be a way to ensure good numbers in raids without affecting dungeons. To buff Martyr, a flat increase in the base healing of the spell is needed, as well as a reduction in the mana cost, which makes it unplayable right now when combined with the increased cost of Holy Shock and the loss of the Rashok trinket.

  4. Last and worst point, buff Aura of Mercy to increase passive healing.

Side note: It is necessary to buff Light’s Hammer or provide a sensible alternative; it doesn’t make sense for a core spell to become useless from one tier to the next based on set effects. TERRIBLE design.
