How to buy 30 days of game time

Hello!

I only see 60 days of gametime in the shop, any way to just buy 30 days that does not require to suscribe and cancel suscription afterwards?

you cant, unless you buy a Subscription and cancel it right after the payment goes down.

They removed the 30 days as a separate thing. You do indeed have to subscribe and cancel.

seriously? but why? isn’t doing that like buying 30 days but with extra steps?

We don’t know exactly why. My cynical theory is that they make more money this way, due to people forgetting to cancel or that they have a subscription even running.

Because blizzard want people to subscribe instead and cross fingers that they don’t cancel the recurring payments.

No because there is a chance that you forget to cancel it.
And blizzard want that money

It probably also looks good on the quarterly revenue report:

As you can see on this chart, our number of World of Warcraft subscriptions increased by 49% in March.

Buy a token with gold on ah.

Exactly. They just hope someone will forget to cancel and/or be confused about the whole process, It’s really stupid.

Pretty sure its so they can bring back the 30 day game time option with a higher price.

i.e. it used to be £9.99.

“Hey guys, we’ve listened to your feedback over the past year. We’re bringing back the 30 day game time option, it costs £15. Yay 30 days game time!”

You watch. It’ll happen.

The outlook is bleak.

Actually if someone bought 30 days as a gift code then you can buy that code and have 30 days, there is no other way without buying then cancelling a subscription.

AKA buying, selling and buying a new token on the AH.

The thing is it doesn’t cost Blizzard anything to keep the 30 day game time option.
They just want money out of you. It’s a greed tactic.

It does cost them financially when it comes to earning report outcomes etc affecting stocks/shares/blah.

“Oh look, the game isn’t able to keep its subscribers and what long term subscribers it does have are greatly out numbered by temporary subscribers. This isn’t a good business venture to invest in.”

Having a high turn over on subs (30 day subbers) doesn’t look good on paper compared to having people locked in for 2 months or more.
