Shortly after Trading Post was added to the game, I started tracking task to kill 25 raid bosses. Now I want stop tracing it but I cannot do this. When I shift-click it on quest list or in Adventure Guide tracking appears to be disabled, but when I switch to another character I see that tracking it still enabled. Additionally when I return to 1st character where I disabled tracking, it is enabled again. Is there another way to disable this tracking? Or do I have to open support ticket for this? I opened one yesterday and got automated response that they are “extremely busy” and asked me to look for help on US (not EU!) WoW forum. Strange, as yesterday expected response time was only 18 hours, and in the past sometimes I had to wait longer to get response.
Nope, this is simply Blizzard acting like a small indie studio again.
I would try logging in with no addons and disable the tracking and log out again. See if that works.
Sounds like a pain ![]()
Thanks, this reminded me of suggested way to deal with some issues - I have renamed folders Cache, Interface and WTF. After this I started WoW, disabled this pesky tracing and it did not return after I switched characters! Then I quit WoW, restored Interface and WTF folders, started WoW again and tracking was still disabled
. I did not restore Cache dir, as addons and their config are in two other dirs only.
