I would like some advice in chosing a realm please.
with everything being region wide/cross realm including AH whats the point in being in high pop realm? at first i thought id go to rp realm since i like farming mogs and selling e m but ah is region wide so whats the point. id like to roll ally so any help would be appreciated

Sharding, crafting orders, guilds (until next expansion) all are based on your realm.
You don’t need to be in the biggest realm but you’d have a better time if you pick a big one.
i play kazzak atm most orders ppl put with no mats and small fee 
I think that’s just everywhere tbh, there is no point doing crafting orders unless you’re in a guild afaik.
Kinda! But you can often find people like me who’d just put a public order for something, especially enchanting I’m always at 0 charges
Definitely not an RP realm then, there are seldom any orders at all.
silvermoon or ravencrest are great servers if you are going for ally .
I think yours isn’t connected to Argent Dawn. That might be making it worse.
Argent dawn has always been the best server by far to be on.
The realm with the largest population.

RP wise and a decent population, with orders and such working, then indeed Argent Dawn.
I’d recommend you stay away from Kazzak, as that server unfortunately has gained the reputation of having the most idiotic & toxic players for the EU regional servers.

Gear on the AH is not region-wide. Only materials and consumables.

Unless you are an RP person I would stay away from RP realms. We have the entire realm list to choose from. Don’t get me wrong, there are no rules to prevent you from playing on an RP realm.
I personally go for a busy realm. It always feels alive. Sharding happens with all realms anyway, but in WM off I see less people from other realms unless I’m joining groups.
Do bear in mind with TWW that guilds will become cross realm. I am not sure what is happening with work orders. I fulfil guild orders the most, the public orders have been a waste of space since they made the change to not to have to include mats. Mostly the same clowns trying to rip people off repeatedly listing their worthless orders.
