how are you other blood DKs dealing with necrotic?
i find it hard to deal with because we cant really kite as good as a DH or a monk.
I know that in Legion AMS could deal with necrotic but they seem to have fixed that.
Only thing i can do is put DnD down with the slow talent and then run but thats not really helping much cause the enemys will catch up before the debbuff runs out
DRW also helps stagger the necrotic stacks
apart from that only DnD slow, the majority of times it will be enought but ur team also have to help abit
Grip of the dead (dnd slow) is mandatory if you are running higher keys. If you are venthyr pop swarming mist and drw, build up aggro, put down dnd then run. Be aware which mobs are immune to slow and have your team focus those. You can use gorefind to pull the mobs away from you. If you are dark iron dwarf, then fireblood helps a lot. Having a moonkin, hunter and shaman also helps a lot.
dont ever try TOP for necrotic weeks unless you have paladin or somthing that can help you drop necrotic with bop or somthing im already tanking 19+ yet cant tank 17+ top first boss due to necrotic mortal strike combo tnx to blizzard balance
for other dungeon it is not so bad after the nerf to necrotic lots of boss cant keep necrotic stacks on you just get a litle help from your team mates and always play with sperstarin lego it helps you to keep your agro while kiting other lego like crimson rune blade weapon seems decent but i think its a bait superstrain lego and bieng venthyr is super good to drop as blood dk you can just dnd slow adds and keep spaming bloodboil while kiting all mobs tbh up untill now blood dk feels much better compare to 9.0.5 or start of shadowland
Delaying the soothe during fixate can help you drop necrotic stacks there.
Yeah in ToP 1st boss you need to reset necrotic stacks while boss chases someone. Obviously it’s a joke for Kyrian tanks because they can just phial but to play Kyrian for BDK in m+ seems bad.
