How to disable bnet telemetry ?

Hello, pretty much the title says it all ! i couldn’t find a option in the bnet client to disable telemetry but its blocked by my pihole firewall

Hey there!

Pretty much all of our apps and games have some measure of chatter with our servers to help us monitor and improve the gameplay experience, such as reacting faster to network errors or DDOS attacks, or even track emerging crashes or bugs!

We aren’t able to advise on how to disable them completely, as they’re considered necessary

thank’s for the reply !

A bit of a silly question really.

No company representative will tell you how to disable their telemetry, because it’s valuable data for them, even if it adds nothing to the end user experience.

true, but i found it odd that i can’t disable it, most respectable companies prompt users for sending telemetry data and you can say NO and be done with it, it’s not the case here and i found it a bit odd.

It’s probably in the terms of use that your computer will send them data.

oh well, no matter, Pihole blocks it anyway.
