How to disable default titles?

So… Every time I create a new character it’s name is + Jenkins.

Do we have some way to disable it for not having to disable it every time?

It’s always “Elder” for me… trying to tell me something Blizz? :thinking:

No idea though, am interested if anyone does know.

crazy cat lady here, sometimes i find my old chars with this title too, eventhough i dont use titels at all except gnome dk with ‘the butcher’.

I dont think there is a way to disable it!
Been this way for a long time. I believe the title you get is based on some kind of totem-pole system.
Sure can be a bit annoying though, hehe. I dont really like the Jenkins title. Feels like being called a noob :joy: But I guess its alright when you make a new lvl 1 alt :slight_smile:

I have made it part of my ‘set up new character’ routine to turn the title off :joy:

Turn off title & turn on autoloot… It’s 2020 and I still have to do this for every char :see_no_evil:

Why oh why auto loot isn’t on by default, always amazes me.

I really do wish we could have a default profile we set up and it would just do that for new characters.

Always getting “of the Alliance/Horde” myself.

Which is ironic, given I’m apathetic to hostile towards the factions. Thankfully, I will only have to manually remove it 50 times at the worst.

Why you need disable it? Just select better one or non. Still better than start new char with Farmer .name. LoL

I believe there’s an addon for that that still works (only had to use it in Legion, but it worked perfectly back then!)

I also always get elder. Don’t even like that title nor use it on any character. I wonder what triggers which one it picks?
