How to do the pre-patch event

Hello,

I’ve resubbed totry the new pre-patch event but the “raid boss” isn’t spawning after clearing the memories. The UI says there is one memory left but it is nowhere on the map.

What am I doing wrong? I was looking forward to trying retail again but it seems broken.

The pre-patch event is bugged and bad. Works as intended.

This guide on wowhead might help.

Basically as soon as an area becomes active:-

  • Phase 1 kill big blob
  • Phase 2 clear radiant echoes on map
  • Phase 3 kill big boss at blob location

Even handing in the weekly quest for killing that boss lags and you just have to keep handing it in until it accepts. The event is very laggy and skyriding is a must to get around quick. The spawn timer in between zones changing over is far too long IMO. I personally have little interested in just mob grinding in between.
