Basically, on an RP server, i want to be able to have an emote animation but i replace the words explained in chat into something different in words.
Something like this is what i’m looking for
/emote (#playerme) praises the sun
/roar animation
(So like that it will emote in chat that i am praising the sun, while also doing the roaring animation, which is similar to the Y pose used in sun praising)
I appreciate any help you can give me into making a macro like this, so that not just me but the others may creatively add on to it as well as referance.
Not sure if this is possible, i would like to know myself as well.
I would love to have multiple macro’s for different situations like for example when somebody incapacitates or kills you, it’s kind of awkard and funny to see the /sleep being described in the emote rather than having the freedom of changing that fate ourselves.
As Winoc says, a macro such as:
/sleepanimation
/emote “-You- falls to the ground, limp and battered before -target-”
Would work out for the best, but we simply dont know how to activate an emote without it being translated in words at the same time.
Other than that, i believe with the knowledge of it’s possibility confirmed, we could indeed have quite the number of creative rp moments and not have certain emote messages feel out of place and force ourselves to ignore it.
Quite an interesting question! I hope it’s possible, even if it is not that game changing, it would make a decent tool for rp’ers such as i! Haha!
