Hey guys,
let’s I was forced to spec to resto and I can’t really respec every day back and forth to Feral/Resto.
So I now face the pain how to do trivial daily quests for Feral or just some world quests I have left.
My question is: Would you rather stack +spell dmg gear using spells to kill mobs or rather feral gear and killing mobs in significantly weaker cat form?
Or go those 11 (13) points into balance and get insect swarm - i play restokin pvp and for farming i just dot everything with insect swarm and moonfire and just keep myself up
I know 11 or 13 into balance isnt 34 but reduced cast time on wrath + moonfire crit and insect swarm should be more than enough.
I wasn’t happy with the damage gear path, admittedly at lower level.
My practical suggestion is to pick an alt for the job.
If you want to complete specific content, such as reputations, and aren’t happy with the slower pace of focusing on spec-agnostic quests, it’s best to find a buddy to go with. They’ll enjoy the support.
So far it seems I do better dmg with feral gear. But I’m sure this would change if I went restokin. But I don’t have good gear enough to keep myself up in PvP so…
If you are having feral gear… you can spec to feral, go to scholomance and farm darkrunes. You literally get flat 90gold an hour just by looting mobs for raw gold and around 3-15 runes which are 200g+ on top of that.
You can do that several hours and are set for weeks and just spec back. 100g lost, potental 1000g+ made with no effort.
If you’ve enough time to farm, you can make that 100g back and farm more.
But honestly, just take alch, buy herbs when cheap, sell elixirs when expensive. Or do something similar with uhhm pretty much any other profession. By far the easiest “farm” that many people for some reason deem complicated and kill things for 50gph instead.
