If that’s not ya cupof tea. Farm the new herbs, they sell nice at mo. Or try ya luck at heroic raid trash farming for 430 BoE. 300k a pop when you get one drop.

Go ingame, go to the store, select token, buy a few, put on AH, wait few hours, done, half a million gold in under 2 hours. This is how i do it.

Though some might think I’m crazy but really, how long does it take to grind 200k gold because if it’s over 2 hours than a token is better value for my time. Of course that differs per person. If I could grind 200k in 15 minutes or 30 minutes I might do it, but than the token would be like 600k so no. My time is way more valuable than wasting it farming gold.

But even on minimum wage, I’d say if it takes more than 4 hours to get 200k than a token is better value, because you can simply work 2 extra hours (25eur so 1 tokens) and have 2 hours of free time to do whatever you want to do.

That interesting RP, you’re working way under minimum wage, you’d be better off just working 1 or 2 hours extra at work and get a token or 4. But that’s my opinion. I only get why people in poorer countries farm gold, to get free game time etc, but in the west, no, we have no reason to farm gold.

I just made a million selling herbs I bought before patch. 120 g profit per herb. Don’t even remember the name lol as I don’t have alchemy or herbalism.

Flipping is also a great idea, but again require a lot of hourly investments in the game, knowledge, 1 million is roughly 100eur in tokens here. So it really depends on how much time it took to say if it’s worth it, of course it depends per person. I don’t like to do chores in a video game.

Sure they do. I remember making millions back in UO just by begging. But it required some heartbreaking stories to make people part with their gold. Goldshire just requires different kinds of stories.

This particular flip took maybe 2 minutes of my game time. But then again of course I had to wait a couple of weeks before selling.

personally, i prospect ores and gain money when i need it. I have jewelcrafting and mining. So it works and is nice. Got around 30k since yesterday, casually flying around and finding ore in nazjatar.

I gave someone a copper once, got that down from like 50 gold. They then took the copper and ran off.

Acted like they’d pulled the scam of the century.

I tried that but they keep killing my blood elf before I make it to the basement. Spent more on repairs than I’ve made on my knees.

On a serious note, just do all your WQs, spam the mission table and get gathering professions. It’s grinding work but it will earn a profit. Slow and steady.

I was at 1.4 k gold yesterday on my lock and when I logged off I was over 5k and I had done was WQs and mission tables. It won’t get you the expensive mounts anytime soon but to pay for your gems, enchants, tmog etc.

Well lucky you for living in the west while in Eastern Europe we are a bit poor we don’t have that kind of money to throw around Willy nilli like that so we have to farm good if we wanted to do you are kind of being biased a bit dude and frankly being offensive.We work for minimum wages in here we barely have enough to last a month before our next paycheck so yea we farm gold in game.

Depends how much gold you need.

If RL money is not an issue, token selling.

If it is:

If you need only around 10k in a pinch or can handle making like 30k a week, do raid finder legacy raids. Doing all of wod from comfort of your garrison can easily net 6k. Repeat for pandaria RF and you have 10k gold in about an hours work if that. Doing more RF means more gold, a full run of each expo is approx 4k as a Conservative estimate.

Ensuring you do the 2k gold emissaries is a good boost as well, and the weekly island expo map mission can reward 5k as well. If you have alts, do it on them too, soon adds up.

If you need more than this, AH. If you have low gold initially gather herbs or ores and sell them. Server prices vary but generally speaking raw mats sell for more than crafted goods.

Once you have spare money, flip prices alongside gathering mats for crafts. Eg. Use your gold to buyout flasks of a certain type, resell them at profit and use your mats to craft more at this price. You need to keep an eye on AH to stop undercutting and it requires patience and fold reserves but this is how people make big bucks.

Once you have obscene amounts of gold you don’t need to craft or gather. Simply flip things on AH by controlling the access to commonly bought goods to ensure you’re the one getting the sales. To be fair though this kind of gaming the AH requires a significant effort to maintain so unless you make it a full time thing for a set period you wont reap as, fully from it as you can.

Well for me the only way to farm gold is rush profession early expansion on as new patch brings something new.

Also buying things wuth brain can make you a lot of gold. I was mass buying anchor weed when it was worth 400-450 gold but after some time when they released Uldir poeple started using flask and potions so alchemists needed anchor weeds.

Price skyrocketed to 950-1kg. I did like 15mln gold in BFA in 2 months :slight_smile: ofc i was farming too and i require you to have some gold first.

Sadly as expansion progress gold making is getting harder with some small oppurnities when new raids/patches are released. You need to know what will be worth before it’s released live - play PTR and predict things.

There is also AH sniping but it require time and patience. I was doing it for some time but it’s just boring.

Btw you should always save all augement runes for mythic release. This item always skyrocket in first few days.

I died a little when I realized mythic releases when I’m out of town. I’ve bought and saved hundreds for nothing :scream:

Augment runes can still be flipped with minimum effort weekly for nice profit though.
