How to farm reputation for mechagon on alts?

I have revered on my main but I need it on my alt too for the trinket.

Are there any catchup mechanics to farm reputation on alts or should I just not bother?

Do you really need the trinket for your alts? From what I understand, it’s just catch-up gear. But it’s probably easier to catch up with a new trinket by just doing M+ in season 3, or the new dungeon.

I need the red punchcard that you get from being revered

I got a red punch card on the first day in Mechagon. I’m not sure how I got it, but it was definitely not by hitting revered. I guess some rare mob or a quest gave it to me.

I don’t know what the stats behind it are but I took an alt to mechagon and hit friendly in a couple of hours. It did seem as if the rep was moving faster than when I first took this char there.

None as far as I am aware. Though having flying on your alt should make questing there much quicker generally. You’d probably be able to do the full rotation of mechagon in about 40 minutes or less maybe.

Given that you can easily get 1000+ rep a day in mechagon (and 1000 only requires the one world quest and 1/2 dailies) it may take days to get to revered (about 20ish) but it won’t take much effort. Sticking to 1000 rep a day via the above and not pushing it further will mean you have to play the alt for about 15 minutes a day, for 20 days to get revered. That may lessen how much of a grind it feels maybe?

Buy a contract. Wait for Darkmoon Fair buff and such.

There is item you can make on your main from spare parts (via pascal) and send to your alt for 100 rep.

I think you probably have to be exalted to get the recipe though (just guessing here, it just says “continued support of resistance” as method to get the recipe).

well flying will make it very easy and quick, like the power pack does … rep buffs will make a difference but just loot the crates and kill bosses and youll get drops as well

Yeah could be! Like i isaid just guessing here. Also could be reward for getting exalted (me hopes :slightly_smiling_face:).

Do world quests and other boring content > log out > wait a day > repeat.
