How to fix MW in 9.1 pvp

So I asked this question on the arena forums and thought I might aswell ask in here aswell

So what does mistweaver monk need to be viable or even potentially good, with a honor talent refresh they have the potential to make it viable imo. They could add good self defensives like greater fade(some monk version, would make sense to dodge alot of things being a monk), they could also make good new CDs so they didn’t only have cocoon, if you look at other classes new abilities are common in pvp talents so everything is possible, my question just is, what could be added to make them good ?

I just made this thread that pretty much answers your question.
Sadly, it’s not getting replies, because the fine people of GD don’t care about MW it seems.
Still, give it a read if you’d like: https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/save-mistweaver-with-3-magical-changes/259082

I think MW need a niche first and then tuning/rework. Counteract magic is already very strong vs dots so maybe they could push that as MW niche with one or two honour talents (and since Hpal is losing shadow aura, this is hte perfect time to give MW this niche).
Having a niche is very important to remain relevant when you get nerfed/buffed so I think this should be adressed first.
Then I’d like them to focus on the offensive potential of MW (that is for both PvP and PvE). But especially in PvP since MW has to go in melee to do damage, and considering the fact that they’re super susceptible to stun-insta kill, they should be rewarded with more burst when they risk to go in. I like them to keep the fragile nature of MW but there should be things to compensate for it, when there’s literally none right now.
And Revival need a rework. It’s our big cd it should do something crazy since it’s on a 3mn cd, not sure what though, maybe apply a hot, a pure damage reduction on the party members, or whatever but as it is now it’s super lackluster.
I’ll be really happy if they adress those 3 things tbh. I like core of what MW represents (slippery yet squishy healer where positioning is the most important part of your toolkit, more so than other healers)
