Gladiator’s Echoing Resolve
Duration of incoming crowd control effects increased by 20%. Does not stack with similar effects. When affected, protects from the next ̶s̶p̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶r̶u̶p̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶ crowd control effect, persisting for 10 sec.
Make them vulnerable to interrupts. Can’t have both protections (sorry wizards)
Cosmic Gladiator’s Devouring Malediction
Use: Drain up to 8172 absorption from all nearby enemies over 3 sec, then unleash it to enemies that are within 10 yards of you as healing absorption. If there are no targets with absorption this effect leeches life instead. (3 Min Cooldown)
Useless trinket, get rid of the cone effect, make it split between enemies around you and have it leech absorb/life. Trinket literally says “Devouring”
Cosmic Gladiator’s Fastidious Resolve
Use: Activate the Broker defenses, protecting yourself from spell interruption ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶c̶r̶o̶w̶d̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶o̶l̶ ̶e̶f̶f̶e̶c̶t̶s̶. The defenses withstand up to 3 effects and persist for 15 sec. ̶3̶ ̶m̶i̶n̶ ̶c̶o̶o̶l̶d̶o̶w̶n̶ 2 min cooldown
Immune to interrupts, but still vulnerable to crowd control effects (Sorry convokers)
Listen, they are not going to delete the Echoing Resolve trinket. It’s blizzard, it’ll never happen so we just have to hope they make PvP a little bit more fun as time goes by (I hope)
See, that’s where you’re wrong. They won’t randomly delete it during a season, but one thing we can make sure of is that it’s deleted and absent from future seasons.
All they had to do with Resolve was give it an internal cooldown of at least 60 seconds. It wouldn’t have made it a well designed trinket and it should still never be in the game, but at least it wouldn’t be as toxic as it is.
I don’t like interrupts either when playing a caster. However, you can go around them: you can cast mind control as a priest to bait out shadow lock or venthyr door of shadows for example. You can also juke casts, which you can learn pretty easily.
As a caster, you have range advantage, possible spammable CC and different playstyle than melee (arena positioning), so I don’t see how interrupts in that regard are so toxic. Annoying for sure, but still manageable. Being a caster requires a tad bit more focus on the game though.
